Our Mission
Uxbridge Youth Center, Inc. (UYC) is committed to nurturing the educational, recreational, social and emotional well-being of youth in Uxbridge by providing a variety of high-quality programming opportunities for youth grades 5-8.
History

Originally formed by a collaboration between the Uxbridge Schools and the Uxbridge Police Department, the Uxbridge Youth Center was located at Bernat Mill and provided a place for school aged children to pursue after school activities.

The organization grew to be the independent non-profit charitable organization it is today and continues to maintain a close relationship with the Uxbridge Schools, Police Department and other groups in the town.

After the Bernat Mill Fire in 2007 the Center has relocated to 111 South Main Street and, with the help of grants from state and county agencies, has furnished the new facility with educational and recreational resources for the youth of Uxbridge.
